What can you say about this. The first kart in MRL history who's so called "Dream" engine was co developed using alien hybrid technology. It was that engine alone, that made this kart iconic. And it was that engine alone, that brough Takimoto andAxiom Autosport to 5 MRL championships in the 2050's It was that dream engine, that made the kart into what it is today, and it was the engine that brought the XT-71 to it's tragic end. Five years the XT-71 and the dream engine returns, but not only to right what was wrong, but celebrate and glorify the legacy that it built. Takimoto Industries took the dream engine that was once built by legendary drivers,Kekkashi Takimoto, and Tadao Satomi and rebuilt it from the ground up. The body was reconstructed as well for more stability and aerodynamics. The ECU inside the XT-71 is now able to all the kart to adapt and alter it's performance based on the style of the driver, but at the same time, it makes it so that only the truly talented and gifted can pilot this machine. This is a race kart, this is what happens when Takimoto Industries commits itself to improve and learn from their mistakes as well as their triumphs. And that makes them a better company because of it.
